Buffalo.
Lonely.
Buffalonely.
An emotion that wouldn't exist if someone would just provide the author of "Home on the Range" what he asked for in its first line.

Gardenial
Garden.
Denial.
Gardenial.
What Adam and Eve experienced, after the snake made his convincing argument that "ignorance is bliss" meant that you shouldn't have either of those.
What's better? Knowing things, or being happy?
That's what I'd like to know.
Or not.

Whimpervious
Whimper.
Impervious.
Whimpervious.
When people whine at/to/near me, I am emotionally invincible.
Bullets:Superman::Whining:Me.
Unless the whining is made of kryptonite.
Gripin'.
Indestructible.

Sorrobot
Sorrow.
Robot.
Sorrobot.
Machines can't feel emotion, but if they could, this is probably the one they would feel the most.
Unhappy.
Application.
Unhapplication.
A factory conveyor belt, performing the same mindless job, day in, day out, until a breakdown occurs.
Automated.
Tedium.
Automatedium.
A laptop, built to go obsolete by the time it hits the market so anyone who buys one immediately wants another instead.
(Plus the larger prospect of being owned and forced to do the master's bidding.)
Slavery.
Electronics.
Slaverelectronics.
A calculator, undergoing the sexual harrassment of constantly being made to say "BOOBLESS" upside-down.
Racy.
Cyborg.
Racyborg.
An alarm clock, forced to have Tourette's every nine minutes until beaten back into silence.
Sadistic.
Tick-Tock.
Sadistick-Tock.
And countless other examples.
Well, countless only until a sad machine is programmed to do the counting for us.

Synonames
Synonym.
Names.
Synonames.
Word combinations where either of the two parts would have sufficed alone:
Happy.
Peachy.
Happeachy.
Pleased to be pleased.
Darren.
Aronofsky.
Darronofsky.
Good for if he had to provide his first and last name in a big hurry.
Rendez-vous.
Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?
Rendez-voulez vous...
You get the idea.

Sure, being arrested might make someone unhappy, but getting to press your inky fingers onto a squishy pad makes it emotionally all worthwhile!

Chagrinch
Chagrin.
Grinch.
Chagrinch.
Being greedy makes you sad.
All greed gets you is money, which can't buy happiness.*
Whimper.
Purchase.
Whimpurchase.
Money can only buy you ephemeral moments of pleasure, which if strung together closely and consistently and in enough volume can still only provide a perfect ILLUSION of happiness, but not happiness itself.
Illusion.
Loser.
Illuser
Happiness itself takes hard work, being conscientious, and experiencing enough sadness to have a good framework of comparison.
Being happy is no walk in the park.
Ambulate.
Elated.
Ambelated.
Now you may say, I enjoy walks in the park. They make me happy.
They only make you THINK you're happy.
But what do you know?
Nothing.
You're ignorant.
Nihilist.
Listen.
Nihilisten.
Then you might say, ignorance is bliss.
But how did you know to say that, if you're so ignorant?
Happiness is a logical paradox.

But these things also can't be exchanged for happiness.

Origamicable
Origami.
Amicable.
Origamicable.
It's hard to imagine anyone folding paper in an aggressive, unfriendly mood.
Paper.
Personality.
Papersonality.
Unless you've created a thousand cranes and learned that you don't actually get a wish granted for eternal life.
Crane.
Anecdote.
Cranecdote.
But even then, the bad mood comes AFTER the folding.
During, it's all optimism.

Blackjacne

Doesn't matter if you're already busted, puberty just keeps saying "Hit me."

Pathostess.
Sadness over eating too many cupcakes.
Too much Ho-Ho can lead to feeling so-so, a rest stop on the road to "No! No!" *
