Inaugrationality

Inaugurate.
Rationality.
Inaugurationality.

Barack Obama is the president.
It happened.

Dream.
America.
Dreamerica.

Now all he has to do is flip the flourishing economy switch from Off to On.
And the universal health care switch.
Also the gay rights equality switch.
And a few others.

But he did just get there.
And he's already mentioned the paying-attention-to-science-again switch.
And the not-lumping-all-Muslims-together-as-evil switch.
And the having-regard-for-our-country's-reputation switch.

Obama.
Magnificent.
Obamagnificent.

All these switches are likely running on dimmer technology, actually.
With certain geographical and chronological time delays.
But we're definitely moving forward, if Einstein knew what he was talking about.

Which he did. As a scientist.
And Obama knows it.

Space/Time.
I'm happy.
Spaced/I'm happy.

  1. What is this "science" of which Obama speaks? I don't know that I've heard of that thing.

  2. Bush was in office for eight years, and it's been said that every cell in the human body is replaced over the course of seven years*, so anyone would be lucky to retain any memory of science at all.

It's hazy, but I'll do my best to offer a quick crash course to people whose science memories are completely wiped, those who are under 8 years old, individuals new to this country in the past 8 years, people who attended one of many public schools in this country, and anyone who otherwise might need this refresher.

    Science:
    1. Boring class with test tubes and frogs
    2. Literature featuring robots and time travel
    3. Magic, but with explanations.

    * I don't remember where I heard this "fact" about the cells.
I believe it was from science, and science wouldn't lie about science.
It was either science, or the internet.
    Somewhere reputable.

    Science.
    Irony.
    Scirony.
