Aquaman.
Manatee.
Aquamanatee.
Half creature of the sea, half super-hero that lives in the sea and has the power to communicate with any creature of the sea.
Thus being very in touch with itself.
Or being a thing that talks to itself a lot.
(A lot of lonely sea beings end up like that.
At least the little mermaid would always make a song of it, to distract from the fact of how alone she was.)
Solitary.
Ariel.
Solitariel.

ReplyDeleteA lot like Spongebob.

ReplyDeleteHello!
Oh, hello!
ReplyDeleteMy apologies for co-opting your word name.
I didn't know you existed, and hope I have not caused you any distress by my existing.

It's kind of you to be so deferential, myq.
ReplyDeleteSwam competitively when I was younger. Friends called me aquaman. When I got older, slower and larger, I had a name in need of updating, and aquamanatee came about (if you will :-)
Hope comedy is a source of pleasure and success for you. A friend's brother is pretty good -- Rich Vos. I'm a sucker for pretty standard stuff, and find Rob Bartlett hysterical, though I don't know whether he's even doing standup anymore. Saw Lewis Black in New York recently. Great.
Have you seen the movies Wordplay and Word Wars? You might enjoy.
Anyhow, good luck and stay in touch!
I believe I saw Wordplay but not Word Wars.
ReplyDeleteWill check it out.
Word.
I don't know about Rob Bartlett, but I also enjoy Lewis Black, and was recently on a show called "Rich Vos and Friends," so I am officially a friend of his, technically speaking.
Thanks for your kind and informative words. About words. And things.
Appreciated.
